Pomona Consulting specializes in providing application design, development, and implementation services to our customers. While our main focus is on web-based enterprise GIS systems, typically using an ESRI and Microsoft .NET technology stack, our consultants have also implemented dozens of traditional Line of Business (LOB) applications with a non-GIS focus, both on the web and on the desktop.

A representative web-based development project for us typically makes use of technologies such as ASP.NET, a Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle RBDMS, client-side JavaScript libraries such as ExtJS or Dojo, with GIS components of ArcGIS Server, ArcIMS, or Google Maps.

While our technical skill-set is a broad one, we tend to work almost exclusively within the Microsoft .NET framework. If you are seeking assistance with Java or Unix-based development, we are happy to make referrals to qualified vendors who specialize in those technologies.
